I think we can all feel that you love teaching and communicating with us, you always find new ways to involve us in our club’s management process, especially those who don’t usually speak up. Personally, I learned many unique, valuable skills from your club, such as starting a creative project from scratch, speaking impromptu, and various speech tips in aspects that I had never considered before. Most of all, your clubs were one of the only opportunities for me to express myself in creative ways without a set topic or boundary and enabled me to set foot in a field that I am now working to further develop. Хочу поделиться нашей историей обучения у Анны Скоби. Моя дочка Настя (сейчас ей 12) занимается с Анной более 6 лет и я наблюдаю за эти годы потрясающие результаты! Дочка является победителем и призёром многих конкурсов по Public Speaking, в том числе и денежных. Она с удовольствием участвует во многих лидерских проектах, сама умеет находить себе проекты, регистрироваться, договариваться со собственниками бизнесов, обсуждать цены за свои услуги и товары, она не стесняется вести переговоры и добиваться нужных результатов. Она сама вела переговоры с Fullerton University, когда они пригласили ее быть их представителем для middle schoolers в Pitch Competition! Занятия Анны - это не только Public Speaking, это необходимое в наше время развитие всех soft skills! Ребёнку очень нравятся эти занятия, она с огромным удовольствием ждёт из каждую неделю! Coach Anna not only demonstrates guidance to her students but also encourages us to step out of our comfort zone. She always provides constructive feedback on my speeches and I know I’ve improved to be a better speaker because of her feedback. Anna is an exceptional coach and advisor in helping individuals of all ages reach their full potential when it comes to presenting and public speaking. As a college student, especially during the time of the pandemic, I haven’t had much practice with public speaking, especially when it came to important presentations. With Anna‘s help, I was able to successfully present my project, clearly articulate my ideas, and find comfort in myself while my peers assessed my work. Yes, it was nerve-wracking - but with Anna’s preparation and coaching, I have never felt more comfortable speaking in front of an audience and felt good about it afterward!

Anna is amazing and very professional teacher. Her every lesson is unique and very interesting. Looking back I’ve realized that I’ve been able to achieve my goals within 5 months of regularly having public speaking classes with her. Initially, I was a bad communicator, always shy to speak and was terrified by having small talk conversations. I am not scared of small talks anymore and actually find a way to enjoy them. My daughter was always very shy, but as she was growing up it started to worry me that she was having a hard time interacting with people outside of her family. If someone would ask for her name, she would hide behind me and would be ready to disappear. Every time she would start a new activity she would be extremely worried and would not speak during new lessons. So I decided to place her in the leadership/public speaking class taught by Anna. My only hope was that Anna’s lessons would help her be more confident and would allow her not to wish to disappear when a spotlight was on her. After about 8 months I began to see results. She participated in her first speech competition. Although she was extremely worried and nervous about it and to be honest I thought she would back out at the last minute, she did it! She gave her speech and was so surprised by how exciting the whole experience turned out. I also began noticing that she wouldn’t hide behind me anymore when someone new would ask her a question or would say hi to her. Finally, a few weeks ago she completely blew me away when she struck up a conversation with a salesperson at a groceries store and very confidently answered all of the questions and even volunteered some of the information herself. So, I’m extremely happy with the progress my daughter is gaining in Anna’s classes and I’m looking forward to more things that she can learn.

I’m so glad we met Anna and my daughter started to empower hour communication and empower hour problem-solving classes. My daughter absolutely loves it. My daughter was always shy about expressing her own opinion or speaking up during class at school. It affected her grades at some point. After taking classes with Anna my daughter developed great skills of creative thinking, putting her smart thoughts into words. She now speaks in front of other people and feels absolutely good about it. She is no longer scared to raise her hand and answer a teacher’s question. It is great to see her becoming a more confident and enthusiastic speaker. Thank you Anna for all the time and effort you put to make the classes so entertaining and cognitive.

My daughter has been attending Anna’s classes for 5 years and I can see how her confidence and imagination grew over the years. Thanks to Anna, Elizabeth understands the concept of how to earn money and that it is ok to fail if something doesn’t work. Try it again and don’t give up if something doesn’t come easy. She also learned how to process her ideas and put them on paper and give presentations at school. Elizabeth has been complemented by her teacher in her regular school on how well and comfortable she feels in front of a large group of people. I am very grateful for Elizabeth to have such a compassionate, passionate and knowledgeable teacher such as Anna.
